One Day Mindful Leading Training

Provides an understanding about mindfulness and how to use it in the workplace to enhance communications and manage stress.

Mindful Leading Training

This is a one-day workshop that provides an ideal opportunity for leaders/managers to step back and explore the personal and professional benefits of mindfulness and learn how it enhances  people management skills.

Target audience

Any individual who is responsible for leading one or more employees and who is interested in strenghening self-awareness and enhancing management skills.

Learning Outcomes

  • Develop an understanding about mindfulness
  • Understand stress, the symptoms of stress 
  • Enhance listening and communication skills
  • Understand the anatomy of emotions and learn to harness calmness
  • Learn skills that cultivate resilience
  • Explore  how to apply mindfulness to the workplace

Introduction to Mindfulness

The Introduction to Mindfulness is a short two-hour course that provides a practical insight into what mindfulness is and teaches simple techniques that promote calmness.

The Introduction to Mindfulness is a short two-hour workshop that provides a practical insight into what mindfulness is and teaches simple techniques that promote calmness. It is an ideal forum for those who are curious about mindfulness.

 Learning outcomes 

✓ To provide a practical understanding of mindfulnes

✓ Learn the difference between mindful and mind-full existence

✓ Experience and learn tools and techniques that enhance participants’ skills in managing stress

Target Audience 

Anyone curious about mindfulness and interested in experiencing practical mindful tools to enhance their wellbeing.

8 Week MBSR Course

The MBSR course is two-hour weekly sessions and one retreat over eight weeks.  Starts Wednesday September 9th to October 28th 2020 at 8pm.

Participants develop an understanding about mindfulness and cultivate a regular mindfulness practice.

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Course

The MBSR programme is an accredited course that explores researched techniques and theories on mindfulness.  The programme design encourages a progressive development of mindfulness skills throughout the course.  Research demonstrates this format promotes lasting behavioural changes.

The course consists of two hour sessions over eight  weeks.  (This course can be customised to address client’s time constraints if required). The training is instructor led, with a strong emphasis on participant participation through group discussion and guided meditation sessions.  The course includes a session on the practical application of mindfulness in everyday life and the workplace.  The course also includes a one day retreat day.

Mental health issues are a growing societal concern, driven in part by the constant bombardment from stimuli such as emails, phones, social media etc.  The greatest skills we can nurture are those that achieve mind space.

  • Cultivate a regular mindfulness practice
  • Enhanced self and social awareness
  • Understand stress, the symptoms of anxiety and identify your peak performance stress-level
  • Enhance listening and communication skills
  • Know the difference between RUMINATION and REFLECTION
  • Understand the anatomy of emotions
  • Learn to harness emotions to manage challenging situations more effectively
  • Enhance resilience skills
  • Learn techniques to cultivate everyday application of mindfulness

Target Audience

Anyone interested in developing a sustainable mindful practice that enables them to enhance their skills to respond rather than react to what is unfolding in the present moment  and who is interested in learning resilience skills that engages you more skillfully with life.
